Why don’t businesses open on time

I decided to leave a little later this morning because I needed to pick something up from a store.  I checked the store hours last night and the store hours were listed as 9:00am too 6:00pm for today, but when I got there this morning they are not open.  The other problem is that they don’t have any hours posted on the door.  The only place to get their operating hours is on their website.  You know sometimes it is helpful to have a sign in the window so that people that get to the store and it is not open can know how long they have to wait before someone will be there to open the door for them.

Maybe we need a law for this, or maybe people just need to be considerate.  Just a thought.

Usually its the other way around. The website is all screwed up but at least the door tells you the truth.
I think the biggest frustration comes from restaurant websites that are poorly designed that it makes it impossible to find the hours.
